We accept submissions of abstracts of original research in English or French, although English is strongly encouraged.
Submissions must be strictly anonymous and not more than 4 pages long, using the ISMo styles. The file format for submissions is PDF. Please also make sure that your identity is not revealed in the document properties. All papers will be reviewed anonymously by at least three members of the programme committee. Reviewing is double blind. Reviewing of submissions of one of the PC chairs will be handled by the other PC chair outside the SciencesConf system, to ensure anonymity.
In sum, submissions:
- must be fully anonymous
- must use the ISMo style (see below for instructions and download)
- may not exceed 4 pages (A4), including full references
- have to be submitted as PDF via SciencesConf by April 9th, 2023, 23:59 GMT
To submit an abstract, you must first log on the platform. If you don't already have an account on SciencesConf, go to the SciencesConf home page, click on the arrow on the top right of "Connection" and select "Create an account". Then, fill in the required fields and confirm your registration by following the link you will receive by email.
ISMo Style Templates (mandatory)
We provide style templates for both LaTeX and Word/LibreOffice. Use of these styles is required for submissions to ISMo 2023.
Download and unpack one of the the .zip archives below. For an easy start, just make a copy of the .tex or .docx file in the template folder and use the copy as the basis for your abstract. For detailed instructions see the documentation included in the .zip archives or following the documentation links below.
- LaTeX: [ismo-latex.zip, ismo-latex-doc.pdf]
- Word/LibreOffice: [ismo-word.zip, ismo-word-doc.pdf]
Instructions on how to anonymise Word documents
Word processors such as MS Word record personal data, which may easily (end often do) end up in the document properties of the pdf file, jeopardising your anonymity. Please follow the instructions on the MS support pages: e.g. search for “Remove hidden data and personal information” at http://support.office.com or go to https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Remove-hidden-data-and-personal-information-by-inspecting-documents-presentations-or-workbooks-356b7b5d-77af-44fe-a07f-9aa4d085966f.
